I have BE 12.5, what else is needed to backup Hyper-V?

I installed BE 12.5 on the Windows 2008 host and want to back up the Hyper-V guests without shutting them down.   I don't care if it is a granular backup - a snapshot of the VHDs will do.  Do I have to buy Hyper-V agent?  If so, is that one agent, or one for each guest?  Thank you.

Yes, you need to have an Hyper-V agent.

See this FAQ for more info:

Its is just one agent. So the Licensing will be One Hyper-V agent License for one host. You can have any number of Guest machines on one Host and they all will be backed up with one Agent only.
