Ok, I had to rebuild my backup server recently and I am trying to restore data from my tapes and I can't.

Awhile back I made a successful backup of 60GB spanning 3 tapes. I labeled them all correctly, so I know what order they are supposed to be in.

I first inventoried all three and put them into a media set. Then I ran a catalog on all 3 tapes.

Now when I go to restore it just gives me a few folders and then gives me a red x on the last folder. When I right-click on the "Media Created blah blah blah" line and do properties and then click on "Media" it says 3 tapes but on the first tape has it's label, the other 2 are blank.

Why is this software so stupid and complicated and not documented anywhere how to properly import spanned media????
