IBM 3582 Autoloader questions

Has anybody used the IBM3582 Autoloader? According to the Veritas hardware list, it supports the Ultrium 2 drives. Does it also support the new LTO Ultrium 3 drives? I would like to use the new Ultrium 3 drives but want to make sure that they are supported before I order one.

Hi,
As you have probably seen, the BM3582 Ultrium 3 Autoloader is not currently in the HCL - http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/271383.htm
and if you check the following link - http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/storage/tape/compatibility/pdf/lto_isv_matrix.pdf - basically it is not listed here either. Since this is a new product it is probably still under testing.

Does anybody from Veritas known when the LTO Ultrium 3 drives from IBM will be on the HCL?

I am also interested in using 3582 library but with FC drives. This combination is not on HCL, is there any workaround ?
