IDR cannot format drives on Dell PERC 4e/DI SCSI RAID Controller

I am in the process of running a test backup and restore on a new Dell Poweredge 2800 server running Windows 2003 Small Business Server. The backup works fine but when I try to restore using the IDR CD I just burned and press F2, I get an error saying no hard disks were found.

If I hit F6 in addition to F2 and specify drivers for the PERC 4e/DI controller, then ASR sees the array but when it attempts to format the array it says that it is unable to (and to check that the drives are connected, terminated, etc.). I would like to migrate to this server this weekend but I can't until I'm sure I have a working backup / restore solution.

Also, a restore done by first doing a partial install of Windows is not an option. I purchased BE 10.0 specifically for IDR.

Hello,

We suggest you to refer the following technotes:

Is it possible to recover a full backup to a computer with different hardware using the Intelligent Disaster Recovery (IDR) option?

I never make it that far in the IDR. It fails to see the HDs while it is still in the blue-screened windows setup portion and I never make it to the graphical interface.
