Incremental Backup on Unix does a full Backup instead

Good afternoon

I wanted to change our daily Backup from Full to Incremental due to growing data and poor performance on those rather old machines. However, it does not seem to work. Using Incremental the data is still the same size.

- Legacy Agent on Unix systems
- Using the same selection list
- Using Incremental with modified time

Any suggestions what the problem could be?

Hello,

The full and incremental (or full and differential) backups must use the same backup selection list. If the data is selected manually, then even if the Incremental or Differential - Using modified time backup method is selected, a full backup will occur.

As I wrote in my first post, I am using the same selection list. The "problem" was that I forgot to set the full backup to use mod time too.
