Install MS SQL 2005 Express after install BackupExec 2010

I am using Backup exec 2010 on en Windows 2008 64 bit server. I installed BackupExec with the "embedded" SQL 2005 because no SQL server was in use before installing BackupExe. However now I have to setup an application (McAfee ePO) woth needs a SQL-server.This can ne SQL 2005 Express and higher. Can I install SQL2005 express without corrupting the working of BackupExec?

Yes, no problem.
I have done several implementations where McAfee EPO and BackupExec were running both on one server simultaneously, each with own SQL instance.

The "embedded" SQL 2005 that you are referring to is in fact SQL 2005 Express.

Thanks for the reply.
I was  also expected that SQL 2005 express was installed with backup exec.
But when installing ePO, it says that I first have to install a SQL server because no one is found . . . .

I also did on a server where full SQL server was already running.
I first installed SQL.
Second, I installed Backup Exec and choose to use the already installed SQL server
After that I installed ePO; no problem.

But now: I have only BAckup Exec with SQL, installed by the BackupExec setup.
Now I have to install a SQL express server fot use with ePO.
Order:
1. Backup exec with SQL, already running for 7 months
2. Setup SQL 2005 Express -> no problem with backup Exec ???
3 setup ePO

Sorry for asking more but thanks for the patience.
