Installation of Backup Exec

I am installing Backup Exec 9.1. When asked driver for tape drive I take default (Use Veritas Drivers) This then 'Blue Screens' the server. I have some of the product installed ie database but no programs. The tape drive is an IBM VXA-2 Scsi Tape Drive.

Should I reinstal and select different driver? Also what should I do with the part installed product?

Hello,

Are you installing BE v9.1 on Windows 2003 IBM server?

If yes, then make sure that the following updates have been applied to the IBM server before proceeding:
with installation of backupexec ....
- The Windows 2003 IBM drivers are installed for the SCSI or RAID controller(s) present in the system.
- The Microsoft hotfix for StorPort (which is referenced in Microsoft Knowledge Base articles 837413 and 823728) is installed.
