Installing RALUS inside chroot environment

We have a RedHat 7.2  (glibc 2.2 based) server and need to get Backup Exec 2010 RALUS running on it.  RALUS is dynamically linked and required glibc 2.3.   We have installed a chroot environment with glibc 2.3, and after copying the agent files from /opt/VRTSralus, /var/VRTSralus and /etc/VRTSralus, the beremote just segfaults.   Any ideas on what to check?    Is running beremote inside a chroot environment even possible?   Is there a statically linked version of the agent that can be downloaded?

You can use Backup Exec 11d and than the Legacy agent for Linux to backup your linux server. But Redhat 7.2 is not supported with Backup Exec 2010 Ralus Agent

RALUS has not been tested to work with Redhat 7.2 or chroot environment.

Thanks
