Invalid Physical Volume Library Argument.

I've just installed BE 9.1 on a Windows 2003 server system. It sees the external Sony tape drive but whenever I try to run a backup it spits out the tape immediately.

When I try to either erase or inventory the tape I get the following message. What does this mean?

0xa0008101 - Invalid Physical Volume Library Argument.

It was a driver problem... as soon as I downloaded current drivers it went away. Thanks for your help.
