When we installed Storage Exec on multiple servers (4 of 6 file servers), all files servers began retaining the .vsp files in thier AOFO folders. Why would installing Storage Exec cause the .vsp files from not bieng deleted from the Backup Exec 10 or Backup Exec 9.1 backups? The drives bieng monitored by Storage Exec are also not the same drives as were the Backup Exec AOFO folders reside. The servers are all Windows 2000 SP4 servers. All were working fine until Storage Exec quotas were applied. We have removed the quotas from one of the servers and the issue went away. Does anyone have any ideas why this would occur and a possible resolution.
