Job Monitor showes scheduled jobs incorrectly

I have scheduled a job to run on Fridays, with a current date as an effective date.  Everytime I make a chenge to the job, it gets pushed out a week.  If I look at the calendar Tab, and click on this Friday, the 12th, the job shows there.  Yet on the Job list Tab, it is not showing the job as scheduled until the 26th.

Just my luck for having such a difficult problem that the monitors couldn't even offer any suggestions...
 
I ended up fixing it myself.  It does help to know a little SQL...
