Job getting stuck on verify

For some reason, my differentials have started to get stuck on the verify. The backup completes without any issue, but the verify starts and doesn't go anywhere. The full backups work fine.

I can't seem to cancel the differentials when they get stuck either. The only way I've managed to cancel them is to stop all the services and restart them.

Any idea what could be causing this?

I'm having the exact same problem. I'm disappointed to see that this is unanswered...
