Job remains stuck on Snapshot Processing

Hi

We are trying to backup Shadow Copy Components from a File server. Once the job is initiated, it stucks on "Snapshot Processing" forever. At the same time if we log in to the File Server and check Volume Shadow Copy service, it shows running but shows "Stopping" state after an hour or so.

"vssadmin.exe list writers" also remains stuck (as below) with no output until the server is rebooted.

Backup Server (Physical): Win 2k12 R2, Backup Exec 20.2, 24GB RAM

File Server (VM): Win 2k16 Std, 8 CPU, 16GB RAM, De-dup enabled

The backup job is uncancellable and restarting Backup Exec services is the only solution.

Waiting for responses.
These may be delayed if a shadow copy is being prepared.
