we have a problem with the jobrate when we use our PowerVault 124T Autoloader with IBM Ultrium LTO3 drive as backupdevice. The jobrate is < 10MB/min. I tried the symantec driver and the newest driver from dell. It doesnt matter which driver ist installed.
The PowerVault ist connected to an Adaptec 39160 SCSI Controller. Backup Exec is installed on a Windows Server 2008 64-bit System with AMD Quadcore CPU and 8GB RAM. When we use backup to disc the jobrate is much higher with 1100MB/min.
The firmware of the Powervault, the IBM drive and the Adaptec Controller are also up to date. Anyone an idea?
