I'm currently having a problem with backupexec 12. i have 2 servers. 1 server with backup exec installed and a remote agent installed on another but it reports that i need to purchase another license.

 

 

Is there way to discover where the agents are installed? (i've only just installed backupexec and the agent and know is on that 1 other server)

 

any ideas?

Sounds like it is detecting the RAWS on the media server, but is ignoring the fact that it IS on the media server

 

Several others have reported the same thing recently.

 

 

If you have one media server and one remote server, you need only one base serial and one RAWS serial, so you are covered
