See pic attached. The current version is 2010 R2 SP1. LU doesn't see anything pending.
What is the recommended action when this happens, fix LU or manual download/install.
If the latter, pls provide URL for files.

Yes. You can upgrade directly to BE 2014 from BE 2010 R2. See the SCL below

I would suggest that you upgrade to BE 2010 R3 by downloading it from
http://trialware.norton.com/files/fc/Backup_Exec_2010_13.0.5204_MultiPlatforms_Multilingual_DVD.iso
After your upgrade, run LiveUpdate to see whether you can see SP4 and the latest hotfixes.
After you have upgraded to R3 SP4, push out the remote agent again.

Would recommend bookmarking this page since it contains links to all downloads for available BE versions - https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH66724
If LiveUpdate isn't detecting newer updates, try the following -
1) Launch Backup Exec using Run as Admin. Then try launching LiveUpdate.
2) If the above doesn't work, reinstall only the LiveUpdate component.

Thanks. As a plan B, would it be possible to upgrade from this current version 2010 R2 SP1 to 2014?
I know R3 SP4 is required for v15, but I don't see any upgrade path literature online for 2014. Can you provide a link to something official?
