Logon account error

Why is it that when I click on a particular server in a domain under remote selections that the Logon Account Selection dialog appears asking me to choose credentials to access this resource? I am logged on as the domain administrator to the backup server, I have full access rights to this server, I can directly connect to it via \\server\c$ yet I can't select items to backup.

What is the issue? What is it trying to connect to?

Even when providing the correct credentials via the Logon Account Selection dialog it still does not work.

Could be that the user account used is in the backup job resource credentials tab. It may need to be set / reset in there.

Try using an account that has local admin rights on the remote server that you are backing up
