Mailbox Database in Selection List shows 0 Bytes and VMware Agent flushing Exchange logs after backup?

Hello,

I have the Windows Agent and Applications and Databases agent installed on Backup Exec 2012 SP1.  I'm backing up Exchange 2010 SP1.  When I go to select the database from the Selection list, why does it show that the database is 0 Bytes?  I tested my credentials and have full access.

Also when using the VMware Agent to backup an Exchange 2010 SP1 VM that is a guest on an ESXi Server, does Backup Exec flush the logs after completing and Exchange database backup and yes I a have the application level GRT selected in the Virtual Machine (not sure if this makes any difference) backup properties.

Thanks,
-Steven

Yes if you do APP GRT backup of exchange on a VM then end of full backup it would be flushing transaction logs.

Hope that helps

Thanks
