Media being mis-identified

   We are having a problem where backup tapes are being mis-identified.  Our backup tapes are being identified as  scratch media, and also as cleaning tapes.

In a liibrary/loader?

Has this just started happening?

Verify that the loader has a lower SCSI-ID (higher priority) thatn the tape drive

Do you always inventory when you swap tapes?

Yes, this is a loader.

It has been doing this for a few months.

How do you verify and change the scsi id for the loader and tape drive?

The changer is devide id 0 and the drive is device id 1.
