Does this mean my current media has gone bad? Over write media is in the changer.

Please insert overwritable media into the changer using the slot import command.

Overwritable media includes scratch, blank, and recyclable media. Please note that depending on the current Media Overwrite Protection setting, imported and allocated media may be overwritable as well. Consult the online help for more information on overwritable media.

Just means that the current tape is not in overwrite status. If the job has written some data to the tape, the tape has probably filled up.

If this is at the beginning of the job, then the tape is still software protected by the OPP so that the tape has expired before it is due to be used.

Or, you can inventory, then drag the tape volume to the scsratch media set before the job starts
