Messaging not active after backup

Hi together,

we got a problem by notification function on misc. versions of veritas backup exec.
It happens to Versions 9.1.4691 to 10.0.5484.

Our problem is that we selected users for being notifies at the end of backup (to receive status notifications).
But at irregular intervals the users were deselected automatically from the software.

E.g.: yesterday I had a look on our server and there were 3 users selected to be notified.
today in the morning no one of them received status-messages from backup exec.
cause: the users were deselected by the software and I dont know why.
This not only happens to us but also our customers.

Please tell us how to avoid this feature or bug!

Hello,

It could have happened because of the change in the clock as a result of the day light savings. Currently the workaround for this issue is that you wil need to manually check the option to send notifications to the receivers for the jobs.
