Hi all,

I'm geting this error

Job 'Mon. Incremental Backup' has reported Multiple Tape Alerts on Server 'SR-SV-VERITAS'. Please refer to job log BEX00186.xml for more details.

Could you please elaborate us on the issue?


What is the exact error message that you receive in the job log?


Do you receive any event ids in the event logs?


Are you backing up any Databases like SQL or Exchange?

- Yes I'm backing up SQL , Oracle Databases

Hello,

Are you using the Symantec drivers with the device? Since when does the problem occur? Is the library offline?
What is the exact error code in the Inventory? Have you enabled bar codes?

Yes

Since when does the problem occur?
Always from the beginning of installation of Veritas

Is the library offline?
No

What is the exact error code in the Inventory?
What do you mean, from where I can check that!!

Have you enabled bar codes?
yes

Hello,

By exact error code in Inventory, i was referring to the Inventory job. It seems that you have enabled bar code rules, in that case, an Inventory is not required.

Follow the steps below:

- Lock and unlock the library
- Initialise and scan it and then verify the results.
