Currently using Backup Exec 11d to do daily, weekly and monthly back up to hard drives on a Windows Server 2003 box. I would like to add a tape library to only back up the monthly and end of year jobs onto tapes. I have a Adaptec 29160 Ultra160 SCSI card available for use.
First of all is this possible? If so, what additional Backup Exec 11d licenses do we need to make it work and what automated tape libraries do you recommend? I'm also open to upgrading to a new SCSI card if there may be ussues with the one I currently have.
Our monthly back up job totals about 150 gb of data but I forsee this total doubling down the road.
