New Synthetic Policy does not run newly created baseline job

I have had synthetic policies running but needed to recreate them.  I did this by deleting the selection list association with the old policy and associating the lists with a new policies.  When I did this a new baseline job was created but not scheduled to run.  Does the new policy really know about the old baseline and how can I be sure?

Or should I manually run another baseline with the newly create policy?

How can I get rid of the old baseline if it is not needed?

Thanks!

A new baseline would need to be created because of new policy. Old baseline, is basically a backup set. From deleting, if you mean getting rid of data, you can erase those tapes/catalogs.

Thanks

The old baseline went to disk.  So I guess I need to find out the file names and move them to scratch media, right?

Thanks?

yes, that way the files would get used later and of course you lose data.

Thanks
