I had this problem in 9.0 and now this client who is on 10.0 has it as well.
As far as I know, there is nothing changed on the server. All of a sudden, it just stopped. I have done the followings :
1. deselect the person for the email and then added the person back
2. the testing email work anytime but not when the job finished.
3. have recreated the job.
4. had rebooted the server
5. had checked when to send out email - complete, complete with exception, fail.
However, one odd thing is, the server or email seems to have a mind of its own. It will send out a email when it failed then another time it sent one when it was backup successfully. I have jobs which failed as well as completed successfully but didn't get any notification at all.
Anyone would throw any light on this ? As this cleint is going to upgrade to 11d. very shortly.
