No more job and device info after update build 5484 to 5520

Hello,

we have a big problem with an BE 10 and a Tandberg Storageloader. After hundreds of gigs we have an i/o error. Because of this we did an update to build 5520, but all data is empty, no job, no device config, nothing. Ist it possible to extract the data from the databackup folder, which was created during the update? Can anyone help us? The configuration was quite tricky, differential backup with 8 devices and 5 jobs.

Hello,

if you have previous backup of the Data folder (this is done every night by Backup Exec by default) you can perform a redirected restore of the Data folder, that is perform a restore to another location and then copy its contents to the existing Data folder and verify the results.
