Open firewall port on remote server with 2003 SP1 to backup.

What ports on a remote server need to be opened to allow it to be backed up by a media server. I am running Windows 2003 with SP1

I believe it is TCP port 10000. Refer to the following link for more information on the ports used and how to change them if needed.

Hi,

You may also enable a registry key on the media server and and remote servers as well.
