Oracle Agent Connection Problem

We have been running BE12 SP3 with the Oracle agent for over a year now, and had no problem until December 21 2010.  On that day, our scheduled Oracle Database backup failed with the following error:

0xe000848c - Unable to attach to a resource.  Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again.
 

Clicking on the link for more information (V-79-57344-33932) provides no help.

In my oracel job properties, when I chose "selections" and click to expand the database, I receive a message "Failed to access PSPRODDB" and that authentication failed.  The Oracle database in question is used with Pearson's Powerschool, and I have contacted them to verify that the default DB name and password have not been changed as a part of a recent update they did.  Further, I have not changed any DB names or passwords.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Although the credentials are not changed for the oracle instance you may still try to

reconfigure the remote agent utility it may fix the issue. Refer to the below link.
