Dear Guru or Symantec Support
Now I use Symantec Backup EXEC 12.5 REV 2213
I have a problem about Oracle Database show error :
" O/S-Error: (OS 33) The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file.'Automatic data file offline due to write error on "
At first, I check this time following running Job backup Oracle Database full Disk on D:\Oracle
but not use backup by agent for Oracle.
I think may be in process Backup *.DBF Software Symantec Backup EXEC12.5 need to lock file *.DBF ,So Oracle database can not access or writing ? I am not sure in my thinking.
Therefore , I would like to consult with all Guru or Symantec Support
1. This Problem have from full backup D:\Oracle or not and I need to know why have a problem.
2. What is the best solution for Backup ORACLE Database by Agent or Full Disk(If possible) ?
3. If I would like to full backup D:\Oracle but skipped folder Oracle Database can possible or not ? Because in D:\Oracle have some data file.
Could please advice me.
Thank you very much
Best Regards.

It is recommended that you backup your Oracle databases using the Oracle agent and not backup the .dbf flat files.
If you are backing up your Oracle databases using the Oracle agent, then you can skip backing up the .dbf files.
