Overwrite media on drive

We run a full backup every other Friday and daily backups the other days. We'll be able to fit 2 daily backups on each flash drive, so we'll have one for Monday, Tuesday, etc. that will hold 2 Monday daily backups, etc. Is there a way that I can set it to overwrite the oldest backup each time it runs? That way, I don't have to delete the oldest before running another backup.

Create a media set with an OPP of 13 days and use that in your jobs.  This way when you next use the flash drive in 2 weeks time, the older media will be overwritable and BE can use it.

Thanks. What is the append data screen that comes up next? How long should that be? It looks like the default is 6 days.

When you backup to either Disk Storage or Disk Cartridge Device, you cannot append to the media so you can ignore the AP.
