You should no longer log in to forums at http://forums.veritas.com.
usernames and logins work incorrectly here due to domain change.
But, you can log in to the forums at http://forums.symantec.com
and your user names and passwords will work correctly.

We are, as a company, currently moving the Veritas.com URLs to Symantec.com.

Might already be on your list of things to do but...

The watch thread update e-mails are still listing the URL for the page you're watching as forums.veritas.com/. Admittedly simply changing the updating the address in the address bar to go to forums.symantec.com/ works, but is a bit of a hassle.
