I would like to schedule a full backup to run on thursday each week of the month with the backup for the last thursday using a tape from a MONTHLY media set. The other thursdays to use tapes from a WEEKLY media set.
We plan to use offsite storage so I'd like to know which tape is required when.
Most schedule examples only show 4 weeks but when using creating the weekly backup job I end up with a schedule that misses the 5th week.
The other week days I plan to create a job to run a differential backup.
Any pointers to planning a schedulecgratefully received.
