Please help, problem reinstalling 11d.

We lost the partition where Backup exec 11d was installed and I'm now trying to re install, but I keep on getting this failure:
 
 05-21-2007,11:16:53 : ERROR: Internal Error 2755. 1610, H:\WINNT\INSTALL\BE\Symantec Backup Exec For Windows Servers.msi
05-21-2007,11:17:02 : Action ended 11:17:02: INSTALL. Return value 3.
The install ends with this error. Anyone have any idea?
 
I had to remove a lot from the registry and uninstall the desktop sql engine to get the installation process to start, but I might have missed something?
 
Any help appreciated.

There could potentially be a problem either a corrupt/missing version of the Windows Installer, or the installation is being run over a terminal Server via a mapped network drive, or corrupt download, or insufficient permissions to run the install.  You could try running SETUP.EXE (WINNT\INSTALL\BE\)  directly at the server.
