How can I setup a backup job to start right after one finishes?

v10 did not make use of policies, IIRC, but you can create Batch/CMD files using BEMCMD, and call them from preceeding jobs aas POST jobs

or if you don't care about the "execution time", you can schedule the second  job for 15 minutes before you expect the first to finish, pointed at the same drive.  it will hang in "pending" status until the drive frees up, but the job timer will be running the whole time

Version 10 is where policies started. You can go ahead create a policy and setup rules to follow the job. So, first template to backup some data and next template to follow the job. Please note that if you have two templates in same policy, you can use the policy with only one selection list, and hence the data backed up by both jobs must be same. If you want the two jobs to backup separate data, then scheduling is the best way out. Bemcmd may not work exactly as intended.
