I have a client who's backups recently started freezing at the pre-processing phase of the backup. It doesnt happen everynight, but is increasing in frequency.
Single Ultrium2 tape
Windows 2000
Backup Exec 8.6
I disabled pre-scan on backup job.
Any ideas?
Is this a veritas issue? Funny how serveral people have commented on this issue. I've not seen a decent reply yet though, that's why I am re-posting.
