Problem Running Duplicate Job from Disk to Tape

We are having problems when creating a duplicate job that shold be copying our disk backup jobs to tape when the disk backup job finishes. We have created the disk backup job in the jobs sections and then right click in that screen select the create duplitcae job option and specify the the tape device as the destination for the job. We get some errors during the duplicate job and it always fails about two hours into the job which usually takes about 11 - 13 hours to complete.

Can anyone provide some assistance?

Hi Steve,

We also ran into problems when creating a duplicate job using the new option to create one without having to go through the policy wizard or create a policy with templates. I think this is another bug with the software.

What errors are you receiving in the logs?

Try creating a policy with templates to do the duplicate job and see if it works for you going that way.
