Problem accesing DVD-RW device

We are evaluating Backup Exec 10 over a Windows 2000 server. We know it supports writting to a DVD-RW device, but we can´t use this feature.

The unit is LG GWA-4161b, and we use Nero InCD 4.3.11.1. We have full formatted DVDs (tried UDF 2.0 and UDF 1.5). We can read and write to DVD media from Explorer, Notepad, Wordpad, etc., but we can´t use device from Backup Exec.

When creating a Removable Backup-to-Disk device, path E:\, we obtain an error message saying "Unable to create new backup folder. Access Denied".
We can create the Removable Backup-to-Disk device accessing it as a read-write share (\\server\dvd), but then the backup job fails saying "V-79-57344-34030 - An invalid command was sent to the storage device."

Backup Services are running as an user that belongs to Administrators group.

Please, can you help us? Thank you in advance.

I´m sorry. We have a policy setting restricting use of CD-ROM drives only to locally logged accounts, and this have denied access to Backup Exec.
Now all is going ok.
