Problem cataloging bkf files

Enviros_IT

We are having problems cataloging/restoring from bkf files that were originally backed up to an external hard drive, and then transferred to Ultrium 2 tape. We have restored the files back to an external hard drive from the tape but are having problems cataloging the bkf files. We are able to run an inventory OK but when running a catalog the first file selected catalogs 5Gb (which is how big the files are) then stops with the following error;

Error category : Backup Media Errors
Error : e0000900 - The requested media is not listed in the media index and could not be mounted. To add the media's catalog information to the disk-based catalogs, run an inventory operation on the media and resubmit the Catalog operation.
For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-2304
I have tried disabling the option for 'use storage media-based catalogs' but am having the same problems, can anyone suggest a way round this as it has now happened to two backups that we have tried to restore data from.

Thanks

I have just tried renaming the catalogs folder and creating an empty catalogs folder and cataloging the bkf files again and it stops after 51Mb!!!
with the following error in the log;

Error category : Backup Media Errors
Error : e0000900 - The requested media is not listed in the media index and could not be mounted. To add the media's catalog information to the disk-based catalogs, run an inventory operation on the media and resubmit the Catalog operation.

Any help with this problem will be appreciated.

Have you inventoried each of the BKF files?  Not ther B2D folder as a whole, but each BKF file
