Problem mit den Linux Agents

Guten Tag

Erst mal vorab finde ich es ein Armutszeugnis für so ein grosses Unternehmen das ältere Symantec Produkte nicht mehr telefonisch Supprtet werden.

Nun zu dem Problem eines unsere Kunden. In der Software Symantec Backup Exec 10d Rev. 5629 ist der Lizenzschlüssel für 3 Linux Remote Agents eingetragen. Auf den Linux Maschinen ist der Ralus auch installiert und gestartet. Das Problem ist aber wenn ich z.b einen neuen Backup Job anlege und unter der Auswahl gucke finde ich die Linux Maschinen nicht. Der Kunde hat den Ralus auch mal deinstalliert und neu installiert,aber es brachte keine Besserung.

Hat jemand eine Idee woran das liegen könnte?

Have you tried adding the linux box in the user defined selection.

On the Linux box check if the publishing is enabled or not.

Also let us know the version of Linux OS that is in question

BE 10d is very old and EOL.  It is at least 4 versions behind the current version of BE which is BE 2010.  It is a common practice for software company to support only a few latest version.  The EOL cycle for each version is well publicised.

Have you check that the Linux versions used is supported by BE 10d.  See the SCL below
