Problem when backing up to local. Backup exec ignores max size,

I have set max size of the backup to the local disc to 15Gb(just backing up OS disc), but it always does ignore it.
It doesnt matter what I tell it. It consumes the entire disc with files. Now Its 50gb and growing quite quickly.
I use Backup exec 11d for SBS...

I am using SBS2003 sp1 with latest servicepack applied.

Any suggestions?

??  Do you mean maxfile size?  that just limits the size of each BKF file

if you want all backups to only consume 15 GB, you need to set the Disk Space Reserve on the B2D folder(s) properties  Remember that Disk Space Reserve means space for Non Backup Exec files

If you are doing Exchange backups with "enable restore of individual items" selected, then GRT backups will not obey the standard OPP rules, but will continue creating new files until the Reserver is met or until the logical volume is full
