Check the publishing settings of the remote agent on the remote server, which you are looking to backup.

Follow http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH65151

1) Its recommended to use Media server and Remote Agent of the same version.

2) Try to add the remote server in the user defined selections.

3)  In BE console, click on Network->Logon Account->New-> make an entry of the credentials which

you had used while installing remote agent. Also while configuring backups for the cross domain

    server select the above credentials.

ok, i check this. I see my server name there but i think i must put there IP address. When i write this adress shows me an error:

"The trust relationship between the remote agent and the media server cannot be established.

A communication failure has occurred"

OK, so logically it should look like this under the user accounts section under Network and Security within BE:

Domain1\Admin_Account (used on your media server, and default account)

Domain2\Admin_Account2 (user account with admin rights in the remote domain for the server you will try to back up)

Then open up your selection list, right-click it and choose: User-defined selection. Put in the IP address of the remote server. Then browse to it, and when it asks you for a username/password to connect to it, choose the account for Domain2.

The other alternative is to trust the domains with each other meaning you can use the Domain1 admin account, but that is not always feasible.
