Problem with Sybase SQL Server

I need help about how to backup a Sybase SQL Server, is there any agent for Sybase Sql Server.?

Hi,

Presently Backup Exec does not support agent based backup of Sybase
database. You can however go for Flat file backup i.e. Stop all Sybase
services and take backup of Sybase directories.

I have backed up my Sybase servers for years with using the open file option.
MS Volume Shadow copy worked best.
When using the Veritas BE Volume Snapshot provider, I had to set the minimum quiet time to one second (against Veritas' recommendation) to get succesful backups.
