Problem with using a WD backup-disk for Backup Exec

marten
Not applicable

I'm having trouble creating a backup-to-disk folder in Backup Exec to my MyBook World disk. The MyBook shows up fine in Windows Explorer and is assigned a drive letter, but Backup Exec  9.1 says it cannot find the specified path when I'm trying to create a backup-to-disk folder.I've also tried to manually map the MyBook to a drive letter, which yielded the same results. Using a UNC path to the mybook in Backup Exec backup-to-disk folder interface got me a different error message, saying it had no access to the specified path, which leads me to suspect that this is a permission issue. How can I allow everyone full access on my MyBook, or at least let Backup Exec access the drive?
