Not sure I understand the instructions in step 1, though. If this is the remedy for my issue, should I be seeing a log file named firststoragegroup<logfilename>.log in the root of the C: drive? There is no file resembling this name there.
After running eseutil as above, the E00.log file in Exchsrve\MDBDATA folder is updated to the time the utility was run. Also, there is an E00.chk file that was created after the cold reboot yesterday that contains recovered file fragments.
Anyone have any idea as to what I might try next? Should I be trying to restore more files to Exchange to get it running again?
