Push Install

I have 2 domain in the environment of BE say Domain A, Domain B. my CASO is in Domain A. I am able  to push install MBES fom CASO in Domain A but not in Domain B and always gives me error. just to mention I have 2 way transitive trust between 2 Domains and also using Admin account for the whole time.If anyone can help will be greatly appreciated........

...it's pretty clear...BE 15 and the OP cannot push-install agents from Domain A to servers in Domain B...

Hi,

2 things to try:

1. Make sure any firewalls on those servers or between the domains are dropped or opened on port 10000;

2. Use a domain admin account in Domain B to install the RAWS agents.

Push installs use file sytem sharing and remote WMI and RPC calls

If any of thes are blocked fomr remoet acces because of

- IP Port blocking (software or hardware firewalls)

- Security / logoin restrictions (lack of permissiosn, different group policies etc)

- Processes not enabled on system being pushed to

... etc

then push installs wil not work and you have to switch to local installs (or identify what the block is an release it)
