I recently upgraded to Backup Exec 10.1d with sp2 and hotfix 45 on a Windows 2003 server.
I am getting an error message when I am pushing out the DLO agent to our clients. All the machines are Windows Xp with Sp2. The firewall is turned off via Group Policy and there is no other firewall. I have verified as I am able to UNC to the clients with no problem. I am able to go to each machine and install the DLO agent via \\EXECSERVER\DLOAGENT but I need to do it remotely for most of the machines.
When I try to push the DLO agent from the server, I get the message " Attempint gto connect to server \\LAPTOP145 failed with the following error: The account name and/or password supplied is not valid. Please re-enter the login information and try again. Please visit http:support.veritas/docs/269175 to view possible reasons why the remote installation cannot continue."
I have tried both a local admin account and my Domain admin account and both accounts get the same error message.
Any ideas?
