Quantum SuperLoader3 - new Magazine not showing up in Media?

Greetings!

 

I have just purchased a second Magazine to expand our backup capacity on our Quantum Superloader 3. I have added tapes to the Magazine, have loaded it into the Quantum, enabled it through the http interface, and I do see it there, but I am not seeing the extra media tapes show up in my BackupExec12 Media library. I have cycled the power on the Quantum and I'm still not seeing them.

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

BE does its device discovery only during BE service startup, and that includes asking the library how many slots it now has.  Verify that the BE services have been restarted since the slots were added/licensed.  If that doesn't fix it, then disable the SuperLoader in BE, delete it from BE, then restart the BE services again (or reboot the server).
