RALUS on Fedora Core 2 problem

Elbereth21
Not applicable
After installing successfully RALUS on two servers, this problem appears: we are unable to create selections on those machines; they are showed correctly under Remote selections/Unix Agents, we can authenticate on the remote system, but the right panel stays empty (the word "None" is shown).
Is there a way to proceed? This is quite urgent, since we are currently wihtuot backups.
Thanks in advance.

Couple of things..

1. RALUS is a paid for option - if you don't have the serial numbers installed, you will not be able to select the files for backup.

2. Fedora Core 2 is not a supported platform for RALUS.

Hi,

As John has mentioned earlier Fedora Core 2 is not supported with Backup Exec Version 10.0 and RALUS is a paid option, so you will need to buy a license for the agent.

Check the Version 10 Software Compatibility List:

However the legacy Linux/Unix agent Version 5.046 is supported with Version 10.0 and it is a free agent option.

Even though Fedora Core 2 is not supported with the legacy agent either, you may try installing it and check if it works.
