Random tapes show up as cleaning media

I have 2 PowerVault 132T with 2 drives each connected to my server. I am trying to restore tapes created from ArcServe backup software and I have random tapes that are showing up as cleaning media. Can anyone tell me why this might happen?

You need to use Media based catalog option to use Media backedup using Arc Serve. Please refer to the following technote to resolve this issue :
