We are currently moving over to Backup Exec 11d from 9.1. After getting quite a few servers on the new system we encountered an error when we got to one of the PeopleSoft server, in that the installer will not continue because PeopleTools uses port 10000, interfering with the use of NDMP.
The question is, how can I get past this problem? If 9.1 used the same port then there is no issue with doing authentication, however, it is not feesible for use to change the port of NDMP of 40+ servers by hand. I am under pressure to get everything over to the new system before the 13th of the month, and this is going to prevent me from doing this.
